CIRCUS OF THE SENSES
Circus of the Senses is a slightly modified version of the Circus’ annual Big Top production. Circus of the Senses provides audience members who have vision, hearing, or cognitive challenges with an exciting, multi-dimensional performing arts experience, integrating theater, dance, and live music with the circus arts. Infrared Audio Descriptive Headsets, ASL Interpreters, Braille and Large Print Programs, both a pre-show interactive touch experience for everyone and post show touch session for blind and low vision individuals brings the magic of circus to life!

EMBRACING AUTISM PERFORMANCES
This adapted performance includes the same world class artistry as the full performance with sensory adaptations, a shorter running time, (for the community show only) adjusted lights and sound and professionally staffed calming centers. Pictorial social stories will be available in advance and many especially trained staff and volunteers will greet you to assure a memorable event for everyone.

COMMUNITY SHOWS
The Big Apple Circus has shows for Students, School Groups and Seniors scheduled throughout the 10-week season at Lincoln Center.  These performances, like all shows with the exception of Community shows, are roughly two hours, including a 20-minute intermission

Community shows are the ONLY shows that are 75 minutes. Check our schedule here.
